Vagrant debugging with xdebug

Tuesday, February 21, 2017 - 7:30pm

"Alexa, make me a green chile breakfast burrito"

Wednesday, February 1, 2017 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

"Okay, you're a green chile breakfast burrito. Is there anything else I can help you with?"
– Alexa

Have an Amazon Echo? Is Alexa not as "skilled" as you'd like her to be? Short of teaching her to make a burrito, if there's something you like her to better assist you with, why not create your own skill? We'll cover the technologies involved, Alexa's interaction model, and create a basic Alexa skill.

Bring something tech related, wrapped, and we'll draw straws to see who picks first. As people pick, you get a chance to 'steal' from a previously picked gift. Hope to see you all there.

To start, the #3 thing people want to do after "Hello World" and getting some basic Redux stuff going is connect to a database, but how? We'll start this talk by adding persistence to the TodoMVC app we build in the previous talk.
