As with any new web development, responsive design provides as many headaches as opportunities. For the past year, Aryon Hopkins has been building responsive websites and will share his successes with small scale sites and tools that can be used on any size project.

Aryon Hopkins is a community organizer, teacher, and graphic designer working on the web and in print. He is in his second year in Albuquerque after putting in 10 years in Philly.  He is the co-founder of the project formerly known as ABQ Sprout and is opening an after-work trade school in January. His full time is spent as the Interactive and Design Manager at the Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau. Other hours in the day are spent developing websites for local nonprofits, parading though the streets and collaboratively creating with the local tech community. He works under the name of Update Content, spending more time updating any site but his own. He may present in a costume.
