Discover how you can use principles of Functional Programming using built-in JavaScript features to make code clearer, cleaner, and more maintainable. We will go over the basic tenets of functional programming and focus on implementations in ES6/ES2015.

About the Speaker (Michael Erwin)
I’m a Lead Developer for a suite of B2B web applications for an industrial client.  I program in a mix of web technologies during the day, mostly Java & JavaScript. I led an 18 week long Haskell study group in Albuquerque and advocate for functional programming, strong types, and software correctness. I work remotely from my home in Placitas.
I mostly suck at promotion so hopefully that’s good enough
