Oban Lambie, owner of Brownrice Internet, will give you a "gloves-off" description of how he grew his one-man development shop into a nearly $1 million per-year hosting and data center operation.  It wasn't easy, it wasn't fast, and its not over!  Oban will cover everything from money, to hackers, to what's great (and what sucks) about hosting.  In the end you'll know how Brownrice went from tiny to kinda-big while competing on a national level from the Internet backwaters of Taos, NM.

About the Presenter:
Oban Lambie has been the lead Systems Administrator for ISP’s, programmed for startups, built the back end of many enterprise level web sites, and lead teams of programmers and systems administrators through completion of countless successful projects. He now manages the Brownrice Internet staff, keeps the network humming, and chases his wife and twin boys around during his time off.
